Originally from the maritime industry, CPO shirts became very popular in the American outdoor sector because of their comfortable fit and universal applicability. After the 1940s, the shirts continued to be produced in the civilian sector with a wide variety of fabrics and various modifications.
Since original CPO shirts did not have pockets, this was a detail that was often found in civilian production. This immediately turns the shirt into a jacket and provides additional storage options. Our 1967 CPO shirts offer this additional feature.
Our 11oz Selvage Denim is raw and needs to be broken in. The raw character of the fabric gives a nice patina over time and fits the wearer perfectly.
