1944 Monkey Pant olive
At the beginning of the 1940s, new uniform concepts were developed in the US armed forces. The 1944 "Monkey Pant" was part of a new concept of the U.S.M.C. The aim was to provide soldiers with as much material as possible, hence the large and numerous pockets. The actual name of the trousers was P44 Trousers, but due to the somewhat unusual pocket arrangement, they quickly earned the nickname "Monkey Pant" among soldiers. This nickname has stuck to this day, and over the years the Monkey Pant has become a style icon. Since originals are now hard to find, we have brought this milestone in textile history back to life.

Our 1944 Monkey Pant is made exactly like the original, from the typical lightweight herringbone cotton to the three large patch pockets for equipment.

The following details characterize our 1944 Monkey Pant:

-100% cotton HBT fabric, 275g/m²
- Regular fit
-3 large cargo pockets
-Logo buttons
-Pre-washed
