1937 Roamer Shirt Alaska Olive Pike Brothers

Our 1937 Roamer Shirt is based on an American work shirt from the late 1930s. Like the original, it offers the wearer a high level of comfort thanks to its roomy cut. Another feature of our 1937 Roamer Shirt is the ‘smoker’s pocket’. In the first half of the 20th century, smoking was still socially acceptable and efforts were generally made to make life easier for smokers. This was also the case with workwear. Our smoker’s pocket is cut so that a soft pack can be stowed inside. Should the wearer feel like a ‘cig’, they can take a cigarette from their soft pack without having to pull out the whole packet.
