Sizing Information
If you are not happy with the fit, send a selfie! And we can help.
Waist – hold the tape measure against your skin, just below your rib cage – the slimmest part of your torso. Don’t be tempted to leave room for comfort. Denim “gives” with wear and it is ok if they fit a little snug at first, they will soon ease. if the waist is tight it can be ironed inside,to stretch it.
Our jeans do not “come up big”. If they are too big, then the waist measurement has been taken too low. They are much higher than modern jeans, even other so-called high waisted styles. If the jeans hang too low in the crotch, the waist is too big – a smaller waist also has a lower rise.MEASURE A SIMILAR HIGH WAIST TROUSER OR PANTS AS A GUIDE. Firstly, compare the rise measurement so you measure the hip in the correct place.
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS OF MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
For the hip, measure at the widest point (not the hip bone) – approximately 30 cm down from the top of the waistband. If you have the waist measurement right the hip should follow through. Only if you are very curvy would we recommend going up a waist size. WE WILL HELP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE BUT ULTIMATELY IT IS YOUR CHOICE.
ALWAYS MEASURE BEFORE ORDERING EVEN IF YOU HAVE BOUGHT BEFORE.
DO NOT ASSUME YOUR WAIST SIZE – LABELS ARE A GUIDE ONLY – STUDY THE CHARTS.
EXCHANGE POSTAGE HAS TO BE PAID!
Leg measurements – Turn-ups/cuffs are NOT sewn in. Thigh and Leg openings are shown in half – ie. measured across with the jeans laid flat, so double the amount to show the all round measurement
PLEASE CHECK SIZING EVERY TIME YOU BUY
Please note that each edition of jeans can come up different, despite every effort. Jeans manufacture is not an exact science. However,a cm or 2 here or there should not make too much difference to the overall fit.
